Every homeowner on this list already paid us to fix a leak. A technician was in their attic, photographed the damage, checked the rafters and decking, and told them the roof needs replacing. They chose their insurance company at checkout and agreed that a roofing company near them can call about a replacement quote.

How a lead is sold

• When the repair is done, the lead opens for bidding with the photos, the framing assessment, the roof’s age and the homeowner’s insurance company. The insurance company is what the homeowner reported. We do not verify policies.
• For the first 2 hours only the three seat holders in that neighborhood can bid. Then every roofer on the platform can.
• The highest bid when the auction closes wins. The homeowner’s name, phone, email and address unlock for the winner only.
• You get a text when a lead opens in your seat’s neighborhood and when someone outbids you.

Neighborhood seats

• Each neighborhood has three seats. A seat gets every lead there 2 hours before anyone else.
• Seats are month to month, 6 months or 12 months, at the same monthly price.
• Near the end of each term, another company can challenge a seat by offering at least $50 a month more. The seat holder gets a text and can match or beat the offer to keep it.
• A 6 or 12 month seat cannot be challenged until its last week. That is what the longer term buys you.
